It will challenge you and stretch your thinking, and that's certainly a good thing! Also glad to see that you've gotten used to using words like 'hectic'... I expect an 'eish!' soon :) Yup, it does take a while to get used to the closed communities and lack of ability to be mobile. You'll have a whole new appreciation for the TTC when you get back :) If you're really bored, as the MC guys to point you in the direction of Inchanga ranch - its where they had AfroXLDS pre-conference in 2007, but its a very cool place, and close to the house.
